The Drives Division is focused on applications of electrical drives in the power range of 0.1 kW to 25 MW, for voltage 220V to 6.6kV.
Since 1992 SPEL capabilities expanded to the deliveries of electrical machines, variable frequency drives, soft-starters and other components. The Independent Drives Division was established in February 2006 to further expand our range.
You can now find SPEL applications in electrical drives of heating stations, energy sector, water and wastewater treatment plants, open cast coal-mining and metallurgical industry, cement factories, air-conditioning of buildings and in many others.
SPEL offers strong experience in the regulation and control of processes and systems of conveyors, pumps, fans, compressors, centrifuges and other industrial equipment.
SPEL ensures complete implementation, including project planning and production of LV and MV transformers cabinets, motors and other accessories, installation, delivery of control system, creation of application SW and visualization, communication and data networks, control room equipment, etc.
An important component of our work consists of start-ups of MV variable frequency drives and warranty and continual service and support, which are provided by our own manufacturer accredited staff.

Drive is new, unpackaged, in warehouse SPEL, in Czech Republic.
Basic tech. specification:
Item1 1 pc. Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drive (MV VFD) series PowerFlex 7000, 6kV, 81Amps, Direct-to-Drive technology, overload 110% for 1 min.
PowerFlex7000 could be used for new or for existing AC motors. Drive is able to connect directly to 6kV line and includes input section with power fuses, vacuum contactor and manual non-load switch.
